From January 1, 2026, Syrians will be eligible for return support in accordance with the regular amounts. This ends the temporary increased support that applied from November 17 to December 31, 2025.
For applications received from January 1, 2026, the amounts for return support will be the same as those applicable to other countries of origin. For Syrians with a residence permit or an ongoing procedure, this means an amount of €2,800 per adult and €1,650 per minor in cash. Syrians with a return decision will, in principle, receive part of the support in kind through the EURP program. As adults, they will receive €200 at Schiphol Airport for basic departure support and €615 in Syria for post-arrival assistance, as well as reintegration support worth €2,000. Minors with a return decision receive €40 for basic departure support, €615 for post-arrival assistance, and €1,000 for reintegration support.
DTenV only offers support for permanent return. We do not support temporary return, for example for family visits or to collect belongings.
