*Music playing*
Title: If you don’t make an effort to leave
Voiceover:
You must leave the Netherlands.
We understand this must be disappointing for you.
But if you do not make an effort to leave and you don't leave the Netherlands on your own accord, you may be detained in a detention center until you are repatriated.
You can be incarcerated for an extended period of time.
In the detention centre, the Repatriation and Departure Service will work towards your repatriation with you.
As soon as your flight is booked, you will be returned.
Your lawyer will be informed 48 hours in advance.
You will travel from the detention centre to the airport.
Your return shall be supervised.
On arrival, you are handed over to the local authorities.

Repatriation with medical conditions
*Music playing*
Title: Repatriation with medical conditions
Voiceover:
During each stage of the repatriation procedure the foreign national can claim medical assistance if required.
In cases where medical assistance is required the Repatriation and Departure Service (DT&V) will be adjusted the repatriation process accordingly.
The Medical Advice Bureau of the Immigration and Naturalisation Service sets medical conditions to the repatriation.
This could for instance include Medical assistance during the flight but could also potentially extend to the country of origin.
The medical conditions for the foreign national will be submitted for a judicial review, included in the repatriation plan and then realised.
Upon arrival in the country of origin, the transfer will be completed.
This way the foreign national is not left to his or her own resources.

Your asylum request has been denied by the IND which means you will have to leave the Netherlands.
We understand this must be disappointing for you.
DT&V - the Repatriation and Departure Service, assists you with leaving and drawing up plans for the initial period after your return to your county of origin or another country.
The departure can be:
To your country of origin.
To a country for which you hold a permit or,
to a country where you have previously requested asylum.
During the interviews, you will reach agreements on:
The steps that need to be taken in order to leave the Netherlands.
Obtaining travel documents and
the planning of the journey itself.

Your travel documents
*Music playing*
Title: Your travel documents
Voiceover:
You have to leave the Netherlands.
We understand this must be disappointing for you.
To leave the Netherlands, you will need a valid travel document.
If you are not in the possession of a travel document, you are obliged to cooperate in obtaining one.
Your departure supervisor can help you with this.
You need documents that prove your nationality and identity.
You can ask your family or friends in your country of origin for the required documents.
The original or a copy, in the form of a photo sent via WhatsApp or e-mail, for example.
Your embassy can also help you to obtain a travel document.
If you reveal your identity, you’ll be issued a single-use document to return to your country of origin.

If you cooperate with your repatriation, your supervisor can discuss the options of receiving help with picking up your life after your return to your country of origin. Sometimes the R&DS can provide some money.
Help you start a business.

You have requested asylum in another European country
*Music playing*
Title: You have requested asylum in another European country
Voiceover:
The IND has denied your request because you requested asylum in another European country.
We understand this must be disappointing for you.
The European country where you first requested asylum is responsible for your request.
Travelling to an additional country is pointless.
You will be transferred back to the initial country.
Or the repatriation to your country of origin will be arranged.

You travel to a next European country
*Music playing*
Title: You travel to the next European country
Voiceover:
The IND has ruled that you have to leave the Netherlands.
We understand that this must be disappointing for you.
What will happen if you wish to request asylum in another European country?
The first European country where you arrived, must process your asylum request.
So, if you arrived in Europe via the Netherlands and you travel to another European country, you’ll be sent back to the Netherlands.
Therefore, it is pointless to request asylum in another country.
You have the choice to either cooperate with your return or your return will have to be enforced.
DT&V, The Repatriation and Departure Service, assists you with leaving and drawing up plans for the initial period after your return.
